A unique early morning experience!
A not-to-missed opportunity when staying in Tokyo, the city’s largest – and perhaps world’s largest – fish market is a popular destination for visitors looking for the freshest seafood. The surrounding area houses a vast array of restaurants plying items plucked straight from the market, and the lively tuna auction (same day registration required) is always a highlight of the Tsukiji experience.
Easily accessible from the hotel, take the Metro Hibiya Line from Ningyo-cho Station to Tsukiji Station (a 6-minute ride, first train leaves at 5:15am), or a 5-minute taxi ride (fares approximately ¥1,500).
Note that the market is closed Sundays and National Holidays. For more information, contact the Assistant Manager or Guest Relations Officer.
